Napier Jewelry (1875-1999)
Napier jewelry is considered to be the oldest costume jewelry house in the United States.
Napier jewelry was always considered modern for its time. Geometric forms and floral or figural designs lack the ornamentation and embellishments of other costume jewelry. The brand created simple yet elegant jewelry for the modern American woman of that time.
The early sterling silver designs and the unusual oriental-inspired coin and charm bracelets of the 1950s are considered to be quite desirable among collectors.
The company ceased operations in 1999.
