Marvella Jewelry (1950-2016).
Founded in Philadelphia by Sol E. Weinreich, Marvella began as Weinreich Bros. Company in 1911. In 1950 the name of the company changed to Marvella Pearls and later in 1965 morphed into Marvella.
The brand produced exquisite jewelry initially with artificial pearls but later expanded to all other materials associated with costume jewelry.
Marvella was acquired by Crystal Brands in 1982 which also owned Trifari and Monet trademarks at the time. In 2000 Liz Clairborne bought Crystal Brands.
The company ceased operations in 2016.
