Les Bernard Jewelry (1963-1996)
After the Shapiro family sold their shares of Vogue Jewelry in 1962, Bernard Shapiro, (son of Harold Shapiro, founder of Vogue Jewelry) together with designer Lester Joy founded Les Bernard in 1963.
Les Bernard was extremely inventive, combining materials and design styles previously unheard of in costume jewelry manufacturing. Many of their designs feature genuine precious and semi-precious stones.
For many years, Les Bernard created jewelry for the hit television series Dynasty.
