Karu Arke Jewelry (1940s-1972)
Karu Arke was the successful collaboration between Paul Kaufman and Jack Ruderman which began in New York City in the 1940s.
Karu Arke was a successful business, according to Jack Ruderman, their treasurer, with sales in 1948 amounting to about twenty-two million.
The designs and quality of Karu Arke designs were similar to other successful brands of that period such as Weiss and Weisner.
The brand ceased operations in 1972.
